Our Custom Board designer puts the design in your hands. Choose how many strips make up your board and which timber each one is cut from, then watch it come together in real time — no two boards need ever be the same.

How to build yours

1. Choose your strip count. Use the + and − buttons to set anywhere from 6 to 13 strips — a narrow everyday board or a wide showpiece.
2. Pick a timber for each strip. Click a strip on the 3D model to select it, then choose its species from the dropdown. Mix as many timbers as you like.
3. Spin it around. Drag to rotate the board and check your design from every angle.
4. Add to cart. Your price updates live as you build, so what you see is exactly what you pay.

The timbers

Black Walnut: Deep, chocolate-brown heartwood with a fine, tight grain. Dense and durable, it takes a rich polish and brings a bold, premium contrast to any build.

Purple Heart: A striking violet-brown hardwood that darkens elegantly with age. Exceptionally hard and dense, it's as tough as it is eye-catching.

Hard Maple: A pale, creamy hardwood with a smooth, fine grain. Dense and knife-friendly, it's a classic choice that pairs beautifully with darker timbers.

European Beech: Warm and light with a subtle, even grain. A reliable, hard-wearing everyday timber with a soft, natural look.

Every board is 430mm long and 30mm thick, with a width from 132mm to 286mm depending on how many strips you choose, and a 5mm roundover on every edge for a smooth, comfortable finish. Each one is handcrafted to order once you place your design — a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece, made just for you.

Please note: the 3D designer is a guide to help you plan your layout, not an exact preview. Natural variation in grain, colour and figuring means your finished board will be one of a kind and may differ slightly from what's shown on screen.
